BMV "BMW" is the abbreviated name "Bayerische motorenverke, companies appeared in 1916 as a result of merger between Rapp Flugmotorenverke "and" Otto-Werke, two small companies that produce aircraft. The first emblem adopted in 1917, was a picture rotating propeller. By 1920, the propeller was highly stylized, the terms of the propeller divided into four quarters, painted in the traditional Bavarian colors - white and blue. The emblem, adopted in our day, almost repeated the previous, first appeared on BMW cars and motorcycles in 1963.
